The last weekend before school started we had a good time. Friday I sent my mom home she had been staying with us for two weeks which was nice because I dont know when I will get to see her again with my hectic school schedule. Saturday we didn't want to stay in Pittsburg beucase of move in day. So we took off for joplin after we got up and around. We started off by going to Johnny Carino's which is an amazing Italian resutrant. We then followed lunch with a walk around the mall so we could walk off the million calories that we had just consumed. After visiting most of the stores in the mall I only walked out with two items so I feel that i did really well and my bank account is still happy and has money. After the mall we headed to the ever so good store of Wal-Mart where we bought an awesome entertainment center where we could mount a flat screen tv, which we still had to buy but that came later in the day :) After checking out and getting the entertainment center into the truck we headed over to best buy where we picked out our awesome 42 inch flat screen tv. It is amazing...now... So we got our shopping done so we headed home put the entertainment center together... two hours later... we went to mount the tv and turn it on and found out that that screen was spider across the entire screen and you couldn't see anything. This made me quite sad....
So we went over to Ike & Kali's for a few drinks to enjoy the last weekend of freedom before the semester started. It was a really good time. after a few hours we headed back home with intentions of heading back to Joplin on sunday. So saturday we get around and wait for Kali to get done with a photo shoot and for heather to come over after working on her car and we head back to Joplin. We first stopped at Best Buy to take care of the tv and get it switch for one that was not broken. Then we headed to taco bell! Oh how i miss the taco bell in pittsburg!!! Then something random happened.... at some point a few months back I had been thinking about getting my tongue pierced and this is the day that it happened! Perfect timing to the day before classes started!
Classes today seemed to go really well. I think that i am really going to enjoy my photography class. I really like the way that the teacher is going about it. and my other class is about indesign which wont be to bad once we get past the boring introduction stuff.. but that is my weekend and day so far... my tongue is only a little swollen, but the ibephofen is helping with the swelling and its weird cuz it doesn't hurt at all and people think that i am crazy. Well i need to get off of here and get to my homework the joys of being back into school.
