A new year is upon us and I am going to use that as something to use to my advantage. My life have been just short of going completely crazy! So many things have happened! It is crazy to look back at the fee years and see how much I have grown as a person and how much I have been through.
I remember the days where I would sit back and writing posts on my xanga account. (who remembers these days? lol right) Writing used to be the way that I was able to sit back and relax and express myself through my writing. For the last few years my writing has had to take a back burner. But setting my writing aside allowed me to get married, graduate high school as valedictorian, graduate college in three years, move to a new state and purchase a house. I guess looking back at it my writing and other passions have taken the back burner to life.
I have been reading a friends blog and I have been inspired to start a project of my own. Choosing a simple little word to use as my direction for this project I felt was the best thing. It is amazing how one simple little word can make you think about what you do.
The word that I have chosen to be the center of this project is FOCUS.
There are so many things that I have put on the back burner and kept telling myself that I would get back to it one day. Well I have decided that all those "i'll get to it" will happen this year. It will probably take me all year to get everything back up to date.
I keep thinking about all of things that I haven't been able to fully FOCUS on to make them the best that I can. I have lost my passion to write, I have lost out on time for amazing photography, I have lost out on my great opportunities, and sadly I have lost friendship. Some of those I am trying to rekindle while I know others are a lost cause.
If I am able to FOCUS on all of the right things this could be one of the best years yet!
My goal for this project is to blog as least once a week if not more on my simple little word.
